Sea and Beach

In the middle of the hills you will not expect to be at only 60 kilometres from the sea! Coming from Villa La Farfalla you will be at the highway to Fano within only 15 minutes and half an hour later you can smell the sea air. Fano distinguishes itself from other bathing resorts at the Adriatic coast by its beautiful old centre with many ancient buildings. Furthermore you will find there a fishing port and a tourist port where you can see beautiful yachts.

There are two beaches at Fano with the necessary facilities. A gravel beach with deck chairs and parasols for rental and at the other side of the fishing port (Fano Nord) a beautiful sand beach also with deck chairs and parasols for rental. Both beaches have playgrounds (for volleyball etc.) and for children. You will also find at both beaches terraces and places where you can eat. You can walk from one beach to another so you may look for yourself which one you like most. If you drive a little bit further to the north you will find the more touristic bathing resort Rimini. Towards south you will find the bathing resort Senigallia.
